What is a Chamber?

A chamber of commerce is a coalition of area businesses, industries, organizations, and professionals, who pool their talents and resources to improve the economic, civic, and cultural climate of their community.

The Chamber is an advocate and service organization for business. It provides a venue through which business professionals can take effective action for the progress and growth of their communities.

Ribbon Cutting & Ground Breaking Ceremonies

Part of our initiative is to strengthen business in Highland. We encourage residents and businesses to shop local first, buy local when you can.

Our Gift Certificate program bolsters the local economy with gift certificates that can only be redeemed at our participating merchants/services.

We offer a variety of retail related events: Cookie Crumb Trail, Summer Sidewalk Sale, Fall Sidewalk Sale and our new event, Local Dine Around.

Peanut Butter & Jam Festivals - Most Fridays in the Summer 11:30 - 1:00pm.

Street Art Festival, hosted every fall, turns the streets of downtown Highland into amazing works of art.

Our Lighted Christmas Parade draws thousands to Highland to enjoy the lights and festivities. Our Winter Wonderland can be viewed every evening through the month of December.

The mission of the Highland Chamber of Commerce is Community Prosperity: Making Highland the best place to live, learn, work, shop, and play - a task not hard to do in such a vivacious community.
