Chamber of Commerce > About the Chamber The strong business community is apparent in the effectiveness of the Highland Chamber of Commerce, which has been in existence since 1924. The Chamber's current membership of nearly 301 is comprised of all types of businesses from small, locally owned stores to large manufacturers. The role of the Highland Chamber of Commerce is to promote living and doing business in Highland - a task not hard to do in such a vivacious community. The Chamber takes a lead in business issues and assists local industry with business needs while coordinating events and promoting tourism adding to the quality of life in Highland.
